Contract Administrator Job Description

Reports to: Controller
Department: Accounting
Classification: Non-Exempt     

Job Summary:

The Contract Administrator position requires a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and organization to complete the essential job functions for this role. This position works closely with Rauhorn’s Project Managers, Accounting Team and Subcontractors on a daily basis.

Essential functions:

  1. Executing new subcontracts and acquire required documentation relating to a subcontract
  2. Processing subcontractor purchase orders
  3. Monitoring subcontractor costs and communicate with Project Manager about overages
  4. Completing monthly reporting for subcontractors
  5. Processing and monitoring all incoming pay estimates
  6. Printing and reviewing all contract changes and estimates
  7. Updating job costing worksheet with weekly imports for time and quantities
  8. Certified Payroll
  9. Required reporting for MDOT
  10. Miscellaneous Monthly and Quarterly Reporting
  11. Set up new jobs in Foundation and timekeeping system
  12. Positive Pay in banking system
  13. Miscellaneous A/R billing

Additional responsibilities:

  1. Miscellaneous support with accounts receivable billings and filing; and
  2. Performs other related duties as assigned.

  3. High attention to detail, ensures accuracy in completion of work
